The film's characters are ballet dancers from different countries: Russia, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, USA, Germany, Argentina, Brazil. They have different life paths, but they all have the same love for dance, namely ballet, and a common goal: to win the prestigious XIII international competition of ballet dancers and choreographers at the Bolshoi theater. The jury consisted of such honored artists as Yuri Grigorovich, Marina Leonova, Valentin Elizariev, Nikolai Tsiskaridze and others.
