One unhappy family lives. The father is an unemployed musician, his mother plows hard work to pay for the education of his daughter, the house has endless repairs, which the alcoholic neighbor, nicknamed Boatswain, can not cope with. Unexpectedly comes the grandmother after ten years of wandering to holy places. No one is happy about the sudden guest annoying with Christian morals, but with her appearance, miraculously, the life of her son, daughter-in-law, and even the unlucky Boatswain begins to rebuild.
