Storyline
No one can interrupt the passing of the seasons, when initially everything is created, then it grows, and then it dies. Neither can the two monks who live in a floating monastery on a pristine mountain lake. Along with the seasons, we witness a lifelong journey of hope, despair, passion and redemption. From the brash actions of youth, through the dawn of adolescence and the fullness of adulthood, one man's life lessons are learned as seasons pass, his emotional inner life changing as the landscape around him.
