Storyline

A documentary about the composer Oleg Karavaichuk, who became a legend during his lifetime. He compared himself to a medieval minstrel and wrote music at night, could play lying down and write notes on rolls of Wallpaper.
He avoided publicity, so he rejected the idea of a film about himself, but agreed to shoot a picture about his native dacha village of Komarovo. The film is based on the chronicle, as well as the shooting of Karavaychuk's last two concerts – in St. Petersburg and Moscow-and the last interview in Komarovo, filmed by cameraman Sergey Lando. The composer, who wrote music for more than one and a half hundred films, wrote the soundtracks for this – his last film.
