Storyline

In Soviet times, the songs "Soviet Easter", "Okurochek", "Comrade Stalin" were sung by the entire country (and according to rumors, members of the Politburo were also happy to sing), but few people knew that these "folk" hits had an author - Yuz Aleshkovsky. After traveling from East to West, he became a well-known writer in a country that is still considered the most read. The concepts of freedom and creativity for him are not so much philosophical categories, but a life credo. The genre of this film by Sergei Miroshnichenko can be defined as"a lyrical post-soviet comedy with a dramatic touch".
