On the way across Europe in her rusty 303 camper van, young biology student Jule picks up hitchhiker Jan, a political science major. Together they set out on a road trip south, but for different reasons. She is on her way to see her boyfriend, Alex, who works in a commune in Portugal. He is going to Spain to meet his biological father, whom he has never seen before. With the landscapes of Germany, Belgium, France and Portugal unfolding before their eyes, Jule and Jan have intense conversations about everything and the world. We see them argue and contradict each other, contemplate on life and realise how close they’ve become. They both realize a relationship is not in the cards, but how can you resist the feeling if you are young, and the world is so amazingly beautiful...
