Storyline
A documentary film on the life and work of Valery Akhadov, theater and film director and the Honored Artist of Russia. The long echo of Tajikistan's civil war forced Akhadov to emigrate, at the peak of his career. He moved his theater from Dushanbe to Magnitogorsk and started from scratch. Akhadov tells the story about his life journey and his experience working with many great artists. The film also explores Akhadov’s work at VGIK, his view on the profession, his relations with students and family.
