Bambi

One morning, on a small forest glade bathed in spring sunlight, a fawn was born. All the animals and birds came running and flying to see the new prince of the forest. They named the fawn Bambi.

When Bambi learned to walk and talk, he made friends—a bunny named Thumper and a skunk called Flower. One day, while exploring a meadow with his mother, Bambi met a cheerful young doe named Faline. But life in the forest can be dangerous and harsh. Bambi first experienced this when clear autumn air pierced by gunshots sent all the animals fleeing in panic—and that's when Bambi heard for the first time the frightening word—"man."
