THE BONFIRE

Set in the depths of a Siberian winter, the film tells a tragic tale of two old men in a Yakutian village. When his son accidentally kills his cousin and commits suicide, Ignat seeks redemption for his son's actions and decides to adopt a neglected boy. But Mikhail, the father of the boy who was killed, surrenders to the grief and becomes intoxicated with revenge.
