London, 1960. Laura Quinn, a 38-year-old American, works as a senior manager at the large British international corporation 'Diamonds of London' and tries to advance her career, but she's constantly being passed over by male colleagues. One day, a friendly janitor named Hobbs informs her that she will soon be fired due to conditions related to extending a deal with Russian partners, which was originally her idea. Soon after, she learns from an acquaintance banker that finding another job in a prestigious field would now be impossible because management advised against hiring Laura due to conflicts of interest. Realizing the hopelessness of her situation, Laura agrees to help Hobbs steal diamonds from the company's secure storage facility.
