Storyline

The film tells about the first Moscow squat — an empty house in Furmanny lane, occupied by young artists in 1987. For several years (from 1987 to 1990), it was the center of unofficial art in the capital. Through workshops on Furmanny passed many of the key figures of the art scene of the time. There was a huge amount of money going around at that time and new artistic ideas were born. We can say that the furmannom square was the end of the Soviet and the beginning of the post-Soviet period in the development of modern art in Russia.
