1940. Boxer Arturo Godoy arrives in New York from Chile to participate in a title tournament. He has no connections, money or support — only his strong fists, willpower and a once-in-a-lifetime chance. By his side are an Argentine dancer, his sole support, and a charismatic con man who knows how to bend any rules. Arturo faces grueling training sessions, dirty underground fights, and the cold reception of a foreign city. His ultimate challenge comes: a fight for the world heavyweight championship against legendary Joe Louis. It's not just a match; it's a chance to make history.
