Storyline

This documentary is a collage of stories about the challenges of life at the crossroads of eras, where the traditional nomadic culture of Mongolia meets the all-pervasive globalization of the 21st century.

Through a close up on the daily life of several characters, both in provinces of Mongolia and its capital city Ulan Bator, we can see through their eyes how the centuries-old traditions of the former empire, the memory of the great ancestors, and modern social transformations are trying to co-exist in the globalized world of today.
