My Father Genghis Khan

A documentary film about contemporary Mongolia in the period of social and political changes. Presented as a collage of the daily life stories of several characters in the country's provinces and in its capital Ulaanbaatar, the film explores subtle borderlines of the old and the new, observing how the centuries-old traditions of the former empire and the memory of great ancestors meet with the globalized world of today.
