Meet Me in St. Louis

St. Louis. 1903. Alonso Smith, a successful businessman, lives with his wife Ann, daughters Esther, Tootie, Rose, Agnes, son Lon, a cantankerous grandfather, and a maid. Rose flirts with one suitor at home and corresponds with another who has gone off to college, while Esther is engaged to a boy living next door. When Alonso gets promoted and the family must move to New York, which no one wants, trouble begins.
