Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

Naive idealist Jefferson Smith, leader of a Boy Scouts organization, is appointed as a senator. He teams up with an older senator from his state but remains unaware of the many people around him playing double games and following orders from above. The naive young senator confronts corruption, dirty politics, deceitfulness, and biased press coverage.
