Oleg Karavaychuk – composer, who wrote the music to many films and theater productions (“Monologue” by Ilya Averbakh, “The Long Goodbye” by Kira Muratova, “The People of Earth and Sky” by Semyon Aranovich, “The Devils” by Lev Dodin, etc.), the author of the virtuoso piano improvisations. At the time Dmitry Shostakovich said: “Karavaychuk is not a talent, he is genius”. In 2017 he would be executed 90 years.
