The Noise of Song

The slums of Calcutta echo Tagore's poetry, follow Gandhi's footsteps, and breathe Mother Teresa's love. It is here that Bharati, Rahima, and Sumita were born: under a bridge, at a railway station, within the reach of traffic lights. Their stories intertwine in the Providence sisters' home where dreams come true. Rahima became a flight attendant. Sumita left her abusive husband. Unfortunately, Bharati passed away before the film was completed, leaving behind a son.
