Storyline

In the city of Georgievsk (Stavropol territory) live the heroines of the film-mother and daughter Orlova. They come from Grozny, survived the war, in 1997 as internally displaced persons moved to the Stavropol territory. Today mother Nadezhda is 86 years old, daughter Lyudmila is 62. They live together, as the mother is a disabled person of the first group and she needs constant care. The daughter is a disabled person of the second group, but despite this she leads an active, busy life. One of the leitmotives of the mother-daughter relationship is the mother's request to find suitable shoes for her on her last journey. The world of heroes finds harmony at the moment when they are near, and active Lyudmila sits down next to her mother and plunges into the world of memories. After all the difficulties of life, in the noise of the night, there will be a reconciliation of mother and daughter. Heroines are reborn and find the unity they lack. All that remains is to accept each other and show love in small everyday actions.
