Storyline
At Shalom Shelter near Mount Kenya in Meru, 600 children receive top-level education. Brian, one of them, shares his story, from losing his parents to AIDS and finding hope. Other kids arrive from Akoromone, a slum town led by Lisba’s mother, a former serial killer turned savior for babies in desperate conditions. Children from an immigrant village also visit “Shalom Home,” where ancient dances connect roots to the future.
