Roman Holiday

In Rome, young Princess Anna arrives on an official visit. Her days are scheduled down to the minute—receptions, factory visits, interviews... in short, it's boring! She's still a girl who longs for freedom, so she escapes from the palace onto the streets where residents of the Eternal City stroll, sing, and kiss.

Unfortunately, shortly before her escape, the doctor gave her a sedative injection, and Princess Anna falls asleep on a bench. Meanwhile, American journalist Joe Bradley passes by as he returns home after spending the evening playing cards. Early in the morning, his editor has assigned him to attend a press conference with Princess Anna, whom he's never seen before...
