Storyline
The film tells about the Russian violinist and conductor Sergei Stadler.
The maestro openly talks about the profession of a violinist, about his vocation and about his views on music.
Sergey Stadler, winner of the First Prize and the Gold Medal of the Tchaikovsky Competition, is currently the artistic director and chief conductor of the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra. He became the first performer to be honored to play Guarneri del Gesu's Il Cannone violin in open concerts, after which he was named by Academician Likhachev as the "Russian Paganini".
The film was shot more than a year. The documentary has a lot of footage from concerts and repetitions.
