Still young. 35/7

The film depicts the journey of two senior athletes for whom sports is a second life where they continue to set records and pass on the torch of tradition to new players. A life in which they are "Still Young." Through the prism of professional metaphors, the film interweaves stories from two completely different sports.

"35 Kilometers" tells the story of 80-year-old marathon runner Mahmud Shakirov, who continues to participate in long-distance races. "7 Meters" focuses on the path of one of the founders of handball in the Republic of Tatarstan, children's coach Vladimir Bylkin. The narrative is complemented by active players from Russia's top Handball League team, Zilant, based in Kazan.
