Treasures of Yermak

After an eleven-year-old Perm schoolboy Kostya, passionately in love with archaeology, finds an ancient chest of the Stroganovs with a map during educational excavations, a real hunt for Ermak's legendary treasure begins. The map is immediately stolen by bandits. But Kostya still has a photograph of the map and a key that the bandits have already guessed exists. The boy sets off to search for the treasures, first convincing his parents that he is simply going to visit his grandmother in the village. Once upon a time, this very treasure caused the death of the boy’s grandfather, a famous archaeologist, and Kostya is determined to fulfill his dream. Unexpectedly for Kostya, Masha, a tomboy girl who ran away from home, joins him on his journey. Together, the children manage to hide both from the bandits and the police, showing incredible ingenuity and slowly but surely getting closer to the treasure step by step.
