Permanent Vacation follows two and a half days in the life of Aloysious Parker in New York, a young wanderer with no home, no school, and no job. At the age of sixteen, Allie drifts into and out of strange encounters with other misfits and visits his mother in a mental institution. He almost subconsciously searches for more meaning in his life as if some unknown force constantly encourages him to drift further...
